Cutter is made of steel 100mm dia. x 130mm long with steel Dolly 25 mm high and 100 mm dia., fitted with a lip to enable it to be located on top of the core cutter. Supplied complete with rammer.

As per IS: 2720 (Part XXVIII) – 1974. The apparatus is used to determine dry density of coarse, fine and medium grained soils. It consists of a cylinder fitted with conical funnel and shutter and calibrating container, metal tray 300x300x40mm with 100mm hole in the center. Cylinder dia. 100mm, capacity 3 lit

Other sizes available – 150mm (10 lit) & 200mm (16.5lit).

As per IS: 2720 Part XV. Single cell model. It comprises of a loading frame having capacity of 20 kg/cm² with a loading yoke and lever arm complete with counter balancing adjustments. A fixed ring consolidation cell for a 60mm dia. X 20mm thick specimen, complete with two porous stones, pressure pad, cutting ring and acrylic tube water reservoir with tubing and connectors is provided. A set of weights is provided to give a stress of 10 kg/cm² on a 60mm dia. Specimen. Supplied complete with dial gauge 0. 002 x 5mm travel.

As per IS:2720 (Part VII & VIII). The machine is designed to compact specimens automatically and uniformly for Proctor and C.B.R. tests, eliminating the laborious hand compaction method. The rotation of the mould after each stroke and the lateral movement of the table (for C.B.R. mould only) ensures complete coverage of soil surface. The height of the compaction rammer can be quickly switched from 310 to 450mm or vice versa by hand lever. A hammer in two parts adjustable for 2.6 kg for light compaction and 4.89 kg for heavy compaction is supplied as a standard component of the unit. A graduated dial incorporating a micro switch, enables the number of blows to be pre-set before each test and automatically stops the machine on completion.

As per IS: 2720 ( Part XVI ), motorised. It consists of Bench Type Load frame 50 kN capacity, complete with Mild Steel mould 150mm dia x 175mm high, 2.6 & 4.89 kg mild steel rammer, 2.5 kg annular & slotted weight, Aluminium tripod, Penetration piston, Brass perforated plate with stem and lock nut, cutting collar and Circular spacer disc with detachable handle. Supplied with Proving Ring 10 kN capacity & Dial Gauge 0.01 x 25mm.

Above unit can also be supplied with heavy duty, Housing Type (covered body) load frame at extra cost.

Screw Jack Type, consists of adaptor plates and plunger plates for 38mm, 75mm, 100mm and 150mm diameter specimens.

Above apparatus can be provided with stand to obtain three 38 mm dia. samples from one 100mm dia. sample, at extra cost.

Sliding carriage assembly which is operated without transmitting vibrations to pipette or to sedimentation tube when the pipette is inserted and withdrawn from the liquid. Supplied complete with Andreasen pipette, glass, 10 ml capacity and sedimentation glass tube, 500 ml capacity.

As per IS: 2720 (Part V). Liquid Limit is that water content at which a part of soil cut by a groove of standard dimension will flow together for a distance of 1.25cm under air impact of 25 blows in a standard liquid limit apparatus. It consists of a brass cup held on adjustable brackets. It is supplied with grooving tools along with a 10mm gauging block to adjust the height of blow. A counter is also fitted to register the number of blows.

Consists of one each of glass pate, measuring cylinder 25ml, flexible spatula, evaporating dish, brass rod 3mm dia and 6nos moisture cans packed in a cardboard box.

As per IS: 2720 ( part VII ). Consists one each of Porcelain evaporating dish, Shrinkage dish, Glass cup, Perspex prong plate with three metal prongs, Perspex plain plate, Spatula, Plastic Cylinder 25 ml. Without mercury.

Above apparatus can be supplied in wooden carrying case at extra cost.

Consists of a body housing a spring, a plunger calibrated to read 0-40 kg  x 1 kg and a handle. It has a long stem & a short stem, both graduated at 12.5mm intervals to indicate the depth of penetration and for use with needles of larger & smaller areas respectively. Complete with needle point set comprising one each of 0.25, 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 3.5 & 6 sq. cm & tommy pin. Supplied in a wooden carrying case.

As per IS: 1888-1962. The apparatus consists of :  Hydraulic Jack – remote controlled, 500 kN, supplied complete with 150mm dia. pressure gauge and 5 nos. one metre long metal pipes with end fittings., Ball and socket assembly, Set of chequered plates : 600 x 600 x 25mm – 1 no., 450 x 450 x 25mm – 1 no., 300 x 300 x 25mm – 1 no., Bracket for dial gauge – 2 nos., Coumns 15 cm. Dia. x 25 cm high with flanges, bolts and nuts – 2 nos, Columns 15 cm dia x 50 cm hidh with flanges, bolts and nuts – 1 no., Datum Bar, 5 metre span, height 30 cm – 1 no.,  Extension Rods 12 mm. dia. 4 metre long in 16 pieces, Base and top plate – 4 nos.

Load Truss for above at extra charges, load truss capacity 300kN or 500kN.

As per IS: 2720 (Part II) – 1973. The apparatus is supplied in polished wooden carrying case. The apparatus consists of a pressure vessel with clamp for sealing, rubber sealing gasket, pressure gauge in moisture content 0-25% or 0-50% on wet weight basis, a counter poised balance to weigh the sample, a scoop for measuring reagent, one cleaning brush, set of 4 steel balls and one bottle of reagent (500gm).

As per IS: 2720 (Part XIV). The apparatus consists of : Vibrating Table with a deck size of 750mm². Frequency is 3600 vibrations/min., under a load of 115 kg, with a fixed amplitude. Cylindrical unit weight mould of 3000ml capacity, complete with guide sleeves and clamp, surcharge weight with base plate and handle. Cylindrical unit weight mould 15000ml capacity, complete with guide sleeves and clamp, surcharge weight as above. Calibration Bar 75mm x 300mm x 3mm. Dial Gauge Holder. Without Dial Gauges.

(Gyratory) Carries upto 7 sieves of 200 mm dia. or 300mm dia. or 450mm dia (as per model desired) The shaker is driven by motor through a reduction gear. Unit is fitted with a mechanical timer of 0 – 60 minutes.

Useful for particle size analysis of soil. Sieving is used for gravel as well as sand size particles. Sieves can be used for soils containing coarse & fine particles.

It consists of a load frame 50 kN capacity. The lower platen is moved up for applying load. The top cross head is adjustable and carries hexagonal adaptor for taking standard proving rings. A strain dial gauge bracket is provided and fitted to one of the pillars. The instruments is supplied with upper and lower platens, an adaptor for the proving ring and a cone seating. Supplied complete with Proving Ring 2 kN capacity & Dial Gauge 0.01 x 25mm.

The apparatus consists of - tripod stand with 5 metre long legs ( in two pieces ) complete with a tee bolt and pulley block or sheave. Drop hammer as per is : 2131 weight 65 kg with lifting eye. Guide pipe assembly with two end caps to give a free fall of 75cm for the drop hammer.   split spoon sampler with brass liner  comprises of split barrel 50. 8mm outer dia x 35mm inner dia x 610mm long, driving shoe for sampler made of hardened steel, head assembly having square thread suitable for ‘a’ type drill rod complete with ball type check valve. As per IS:2720 (Part – XVII). The apparatus consists of  :Gunmetal mould, 100mm dia x 127.3mm high x 1000ml volume, Extension collar 100mm dia. x 60mm high, Drainage base plate with a recess  for a porous stone and with an outlet valve, Metallic clamping ring, Drainage cap (Top plate with a recess for a porous stone and fitted with an inlet valve and an air release valve), Dummy plate to serve as a false bottom curing compaction, Porous stone for drainage base plate, Porous stone for drainage cap, Set of three glass stand pipes approx. 6 mm dia., 10mm dia. and 20mm dia. mounted on a stand, 3 meter long rubber connecting tube with pinch cock.

As per IS: 2720 (Part XIII). The apparatus consists of :    Loading Unit with V-strips on which shear box housing rests, loading yoke with direct and lever system for applying normal load to the capacity of 8 kg/cm2, fixtures for proving ring, brackets for holding consolidation and strain dial gauges, and manually operated lead screw for application of shear stress.
